After graduating from an esthetic school, I worked in a beauty salon as a beauty advisor giving advice on inner beauty. In the process, I decided I wanted to work in a job related to external beauty, so I joined ARIGATO. The deciding factors were that I thought I would enjoy working there and the fact that they were closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. I have a child, so I was looking for a job that would allow me to work until 6:00 p.m., but I couldn't find such a company anywhere else. I was surprised that such a company existed, because I thought I could not work in the beauty business unless I worked until late.
Currently, I am in charge of training and seminars for distributors and salons. I give seminars on our products, seasonal seminars, counseling seminars, and many other things. I am happy when I hear comments such as "I learned a lot" or "I would like to try it. I also feel rewarded when owners tell me after a course or seminar that their customers were pleased with my work.

It takes about 2 hours from my house to the office, so I am usually allowed to choose whether to work in the office or remotely, at my own initiative. I enjoy spending time in the office and I love the members so much that I would actually like to come here every day if it were closer (laughs). "Before ARIGATO, I was a medical office worker, left after marriage and childbirth, and then worked as a sales clerk for another company when my second child was born. Currently, I belong to a department called the Product Department and am involved in product development. I am in charge of how to make the contents of products and containers, from the zero to the one, and finally to the completion of the product. That's why I feel a great deal of emotion and satisfaction when the product is completed. My previous job was importing and wholesaling seafood-related products. I would go overseas to buy raw materials and take them to Southeast Asia to offer as ingredients for major conveyor-belt sushi restaurants. But I was hit hard by Corona and my salary dropped. At that time, I thought about my future life. The company wouldn't protect me, and I needed to be able to make money on my own. Then I joined an online marketing school to start a side business. There, through the owner of a beauty salon, I met Ms. Muro, the president's sister, and that was the beginning of my contact with ARIGATO.

At first, I was involved in the underwear business as a helper, but the president, Mr. Yamazaki, asked me, "Are you enjoying your current job? If not, why don't you try working for us in sales? If not, why don't you try sales at our company? I had always seen the people at ARIGATO who were always sparkling and enjoying their work, and I decided to join the company because I wanted to be involved with people like that.

Currently, as a sales person, I am engaged in sales activities for corporate clients, such as salons that operate multiple stores. At first, I came from a different industry, so I had to learn a lot, and it was tough because I didn't get the results I wanted. But my boss and the people around me guided me and taught me how to do things in a way that suited me. What I felt when I joined ARIGATO is that everyone is seriously looking for what they can do. People tend to think that a company that looks like fun is just fun, but in reality, there is a kind of passion to achieve more numbers, to improve the company, and so on.

PR/Public Relations

I was assigned to my current position as a new graduate. I am entrusted with the president's secretary and PR/Public Relations.
Actually, the president is my aunt, and we never usually talked about work, but I always looked at social networking sites, and I joined ARIGATO because I thought, "I want to work with the president anyway .

After joining the company, I was involved in various tasks and was often asked to make videos, etc. I gradually came to think that "I want to do PR work that only I can do," and I told them that I wanted to do that. I told them that I wanted to do PR work that only I could do, and they granted my wish. I think it is quite unusual for a newcomer to suddenly become a PR/public relations manager, but the president was very supportive. Now, as a PR/public relations manager, my main job is to communicate the company to the outside world, such as managing Instagram and accompanying magazine photo shoots. Of course, I also accompany the president and play the role of secretary while thinking of daily SNS topics and sometimes taking pictures of the president's private life.
Recently, I have also taken on the challenge of operating TikTok. We dance together, and since the members of the company are all unique and interesting, we are trying to communicate not only the products but also the appeal of the company.

Internally, I also shoot and edit interesting videos for the company. It's a tough job because there are no right answers, so I have to think for myself, but it's very rewarding to be able to give shape to my ideas. I started this job not as a professional, but because I really like it, so I always think about what I can do to convey the ARIGATO style. There are times when I have trouble coming up with ideas, but I am happy when people are pleased with the videos I make, so I use that as motivation to do my best. I am also reassured by the advice I get from people in the company. I also get to meet a lot of people every day, and I get good inspiration from the work of professionals, so I think that's part of my growth.
